Pride Healing & Recovery Services provides compassionate, evidence-based counseling for children, adolescents, and adults across Louisiana — meeting each person where they are, honoring who they are, and walking with them toward recovery, mental wellness, and a life of dignity. We do this through five commitments, one for each letter of our name.

I became a counselor because I've watched people I care about struggle, and because I genuinely care about my community. Helping people heal isn't just a job to me — it's personal, and it's why I show up fully for every client who trusts me with their story.
I'm a native of Vermilion Parish, born and raised in Cajun Country here in South Louisiana, and I love how multicultural and genuinely unique our little corner of the world is. That upbringing is part of why I've devoted my life to helping people in need and being a voice for those who have never felt like they had one.
I bring over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through clinical counseling, assessment, and treatment planning as a Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).
The therapeutic approach here is humanistic — rooted in the belief that every person already has what they need to grow, given empathy, genuine regard, and a relationship free of judgment. That means meeting you exactly where you are right now, not where a textbook says you should be. Every treatment plan is built individually around your specific history, culture, goals, and pace — never a generic, one-size-fits-all program applied the same way to everyone.

Our Approach
Respectful. Hopeful. Structured.
Every client's path looks different, but the approach stays the same: listen first, build a plan together, and provide the consistent structure that recovery and mental health progress require. Sessions are grounded in clinical assessment and treatment planning, with an emphasis on dignity and steady, sustainable progress — not quick fixes.
That also means never rushing you toward a version of yourself that isn't your own. Goals are set collaboratively, pace is set by you, and cultural background, identity, and personal values are treated as part of the plan — not obstacles to work around.
It also means your privacy is treated as non-negotiable. Every session, record, and conversation is protected under strict HIPAA and Louisiana confidentiality standards — what you share here stays between us.
The goal isn't just symptom relief — it's a healthier, more stable life you can sustain.

Walking Alongside You
Recovery isn't meant to be a solo journey
No one should have to carry a mental health or addiction struggle in silence. Part of the role of this practice is simply to walk alongside you — consistently, patiently, and without judgment — while you rebuild routines, relationships, and a sense of stability at your own pace.
That support looks the same regardless of who you are: your race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, faith, age, or life story. Everyone deserves a counselor who shows up fully for them.
Children, adolescents & adults
Ages 6 and up — children, adolescents, teens, and adults dealing with substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring mental health and addiction concerns, of every background, identity, and walk of life, anywhere in Louisiana, entirely by telehealth.
Telehealth, statewide
Every session is delivered by secure, HIPAA-compliant video — from wherever you feel most comfortable, anywhere in Louisiana. In-person sessions are coming soon.
